I can't believe it took you so long to see the original "Pelham." I love that movie.

There are still plenty of readers out there who could care less if their "friends" just ate a big meal or are tired after a long day. This blog is needed. Thank you.

Good photo and an even better story.

As for as BJ-ovich appearing in "Superstar", I think it's all a very calculated yet desperate move (á la the media tour right before his impeachment) to try to show people that, in this case, he can laugh at himself and he's just a regular joe, not capable of sodomizing the state the way he did. I refuse to see "Superstar" just because it's about him. It may well be a fantastic production, but the only time I want to hear his name again is when it is followed by "is hereby sentenced to...".

Not an Anne Hathaway fan? Pity. She's kind of a hottie. And yes, she CAN act too.

And remakes are never as good as the original. Never. Wait- no, I was right. NEVER. Walter Matthau was awesome.

Whoa... did I just read a blog?!

The Rod thing totally pisses me off. From what I understand, Patti is also coming off as quite sympathetic on 'I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here'. I was told that she said that 'all those people down there in Springfield' hate them only because they didn't want to live in the Govenor's Mansion. She said it was just because the kids love their schools, and Rod and Patti didn't want them to grow up in a 35 room house with butlers and chefs, they just wanted them to be normal. Ah yes - that's why we hate Rod, because he didn't want a chef. Whatever. But I understand from those who watch the show (which I don't because I couldn't stomach it) that its working and they all feel sorry for them. Good thing his jury pool has to come from Illinois where hopefully people know better.

That is a gnarly photo. (that's the lingo, right?)

I totally agree with you re: Rod appearing in the play. It's a pretty genius move on his part really, but it does take away some of the joy at thinking that he's crying about it.

I'll be interested to know how your kids receive comic books. Rob's tried here with absolutely no interest from the kids.

Rob just dvr'd the original Pelham. I've never seen it.
