Congratulations to our own Chris Scheufele (that’s Shoo to you and me) for being featured in the SJ-R’s In the Spotlight feature this week. Also congratulations to the SJR for recognizing that not all artists are showcasing their talents in galleries, theatres or music halls. Many artists are doing their thing exclusively on the Web and producing some great work. Shoo’s a great local example of this new breed.
Finally, thanks to Shoo for mentioning BFS as one of his favorite blogs. If you happen down to the American Music Show at Taste of Downtown (post to follow) on Saturday night, I’ll buy you a beer.

intruiging article.. I like your point of view on this matter. Although there are a few points I diverge on though. But I think that clears up a few questions for me personally. Anyone else agree?

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% certain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
