Hang the DJ: Part II
By Dan on Feb 24, 2008 in Blog, Music
Driving home from Meijer this afternoon, Victor and I were rocking out to the Is-She-Really-Going-Out-With-Him bass groove that carries the awesome single, Steady, As She Goes.
When the song ended, the DJ informed us that we had been enjoying the sounds of the "Ra-counters." That’s how he said it, "Ra-counters." So not only had this DJ missed out on the name of the band who released one of the best received albums of the past couple of years, he also doesn’t know a word to describe George Plimpton. For shame.
Here’s Joe’s song.
That Raccoontours song was pretty neat.
And thanks, by the way… I have the Smiths stuck in my head now.
“Panic on the streets of Lonnnndonnnn
“Panic on the streets Biiiirminghaaaaaam”

I thought it was Steady, as she goes. Shows what I know.

Well that was a stupid mistake. Thanks Gish.

What’s with the cows in the video? I didn’t watch all the way through because I have a lot of respect for the cow, being the tasty animal that it is…Help, what am I missing?
But, I do love the song.
