My twins turned seven today. Tessie got her ears pierced yesterday, something that I swore wouldn’t happen until she turned 16, and Victor is getting his first skateboard (the drums will have to wait until Christmas.) It goes without saying that they’re growing up too quickly, but it is worth mentioning that they are two sweet and smart kids, with a streak of stubbornness that’s much easier to amusingly reflect upon when I’m at work and they’re at school. I’ll also say that you’d be hard-pressed find two better looking human beings.
