I can’t believe someone would re-take one of those quizzes (i.e. cheat) just to get a better score than someone. Myself, when I am beaten by a worthy adversary such as yourself, I do the honorable thing: I curse your- I mean, that person’s- name and throw stuff in the privacy of my Facebook Cave™.

I agree that local bands need to start playing sooner than midnight, or even 9 or 10. It’s hard for over-the-partying-hill music lovers such as myself to go see local talent when it starts that late, and said local talent can’t gather a following when all they get to play for are the die hard bar closers. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I’m just too old to do that nowadays.

Oh, and I would be failing my educator mother if I didn’t point out that Maria is the most ardent pre-game DISSENTER, not DESCENTER.

The comment by Victor cracked me up. Our darling Emma broke her wrist last March while roller skating. This last week she braved it again with summer camp, only to call me in hysterics that she had fallen and busted her knee. Thankfully, it only swelled a bit and no surgeries or casts were required this time.

When I commented later to her that she & roller skating did not mix, she stated matter of factly, “I’m really good at it unless I fall down.”

I guess great minds think alike.

I’m with you on needing local bands to start playing at a decent hour. I get invites to go out and hear friends play but their gigs usually start at 10 pm. I’m gobsmacked and often complain but they just mock me and call me “grandma”…to which I reply, “I’m OK with that”. They need to start by 8 pm…better yet 6…I’m usually done eating supper by then.

Wow! To level such an accusation with absolutely no proof is rather bold not to mention stupid.

I have not ever repeated a Facebook quiz my short and suspicious friend. In the past I have accidentally started some that I have already completed but upon realizing it I quickly log off. Trivia is too important to me to cheat. All you need to do to test me is to go play some of the quizzes and you will see my name along with some rather dismal results. Why would I leave some with horrible results and cheat on others? The answer is I wouldn’t and I don’t. I think you might be confused with some quizzes that are similar to ones that you may have already completed but are in fact totally different.

Now back the hell off me punk and just come to peace with the fact that I gots me some real bad-ass smarts. Anytime you want to go one-on-one let me know.

I expect to see an apology real soon.
