Well of course I’m the best golf pro, that’s why I didn’t bother lobbying for votes for that category. It will take great amounts of cunning, self-promotion and perhaps chicanery to get named best columnist.
By the way, you are far and away the best cell phone provider in town. Or you were before moving.

Thanks. Your kind words about my foray into the telecommunications business mean a lot. I know nights didn’t start until 11:22 p.m., weekends cost double and additional features – not lines – cost $10 a pop. But I’d like to think customer service put me over the top.
