Keep your wife on ice
By Dan on Jan 20, 2008 in SJ-R
My column in the SJ-R today takes a look at how the diamond industry is peddling their wares by proposing the offensive notion that achieving marital bliss is as easy as giving your favorite material girl an expensive ring. I decry this practice as belittling to women and suspect that the industry will be sent reeling by my hard-hitting commentary. Take that, DeBeers!

Faithfulness for sale: keep her on ice and she’ll never stray
Once again, Dan, a brilliant column, wondrously well written.
Congratulations.

Offensive? NOT! Love, adoration, respect and trust is required, but if as a partner you’re looking for some insurance – bling won’t hurt! Dan, your comments wreak like a man who didn’t spend 3-6 months salary on the diamond his lady is wearing…
