Run Hurts
I usually enjoy Sundays, but I thought that I would try something different this week and instead spent the day suffering from severe, post half-marathon muscular pain. My legs are seriously distressed. 

I did manage to hobble around the UIS soccer fields while the kids flew a kite (Look for shark-invested skies this spring, as they’ve become the new dragon in kite fashion this season). Later, I lurched about Centennial Park while children mocked me by climbing steps and moving about carefree and effortlessly. I’m resting  in a chair now, yet the aches still ring throughout my nervous system.

Dynasty?
Despite having our best player serving a one-night suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy*, our regular trivia team once again took home the top prize in the Fire Fighters Club Trivia Night. And this time, there was no question about what was to be done with the winnings. We pocketed the whole stash. And if I may be so bold, I played one of my best matches ever.
