Nancy happens to mean “Grace” and refers to woman who are charming, talented and have a very positive attitude to life.

Nancys attract success and recognition; are focussed and patient; understand that material rewards are a result of discipline; are creative; are drawn towards the arts; and are likely to be important. Above all they are loyal friends who must be allowed freedom and independence.

I think it is a beautiful name . . .

It wasn’t a dig at you or Dave, it was merely an observation on how the same argument on two different topics can actually be used by both sides.

While I appreciate your and Laura’s support, I think Peter James was taking a dig at me by comparing me to a smoker. We may have to keep waiting for the Immaculate Consensus.

I’m not sure what your point is. But in my opinion Dan’s blog is just the right mix of ‘puff’ pieces (not sure that’s the word I’d use) and serious topics. I don’t think Dan intends all of his posts to result in intellectual debate or lengthy discourse from all sides. Sometimes it’s good to read something for sheer entertainment value and get a chuckle out of it, and lots of times I think that’s all he’s going for. This is one of those times…I don’t think he’s really distraught over Walt Skube’s current employment situation and I don’t think he really cares if Walt and Sam are still best friends forever. And as he stated, he didn’t really intend to spark a discussion on any of these topics.

And, rarely does ‘nobody know what the hell’ he is talking about. Dan’s audience is by and large very intelligent and very in tune with what he’s writing about.
