Trivia: America needs you, (Harry Truman)

Okay, the last round was too easy so I intend to break you with this one. I’ve upped the questions to a dozen plus a bonus. If anyone scores higher than an 11, I will personally buy you a beer or an equivalent beverage at the establishment of your choice. Or I’ll accuse you of cheating. It depends.

In this edition, every answer is the name of a person, real or fictitious, that appears in a song. I’ll give you a clue based on the song’s lyrics, you tell me the name.

For example, if I said, "he was the baddest man in the whole damn town," you’d respond with, "Leroy Brown."

Two matters of note:

Many of the names are also the title of the song, but several are not. I’m not looking for the song’s title, however, but the name of the person being referenced.

Each answer requires the full, two- or three-word name as it appears in the song.

Your replies will be held for moderation. You will not Google. We will begin:

Wow. That was much harder than the last. Unfortunately, all the ones I know I got were easy enough for anybody to get, so I won’t be winning this one. So boo.

  4. That is tough! Once I hit #9 I mentally switched over to “sink hole” by DBT and it was all over for me.
