WQNA in the Heartland
By Dan on May 23, 2008 in SJ-R
I penned the feature story in the Heartland this week. It’s on some of the wonderful volunteers at WQNA who share their love and knowledge of music with the community.
I regret that I had but one (appx. 1,600 word) story to give for that station, and as such, was only able to give proper due to a handful of DJs. That’s not a slight on the rest, just my attempt to relate, with at least some depth, the wide variety of personalities and musical genres that can be found on WQNA.
So why not go read the article now, or better yet, pick up a paper edition and enjoy the photography stylings of Ms. Suzanne Schmid.
If it weren’t for these guys I would not have discovered Richard Cheese

I used to volunteer for two shows way back in the day. WQNA is filled with a great bunch of people. I tune in whenever I can.
